Long-term cooperation
Long-term cooperation that can be called a success story. Dura Vermeer and Doornbos Equipment have worked together for many years and that is not without good reason. “We are almost always very satisfied with them”, explained Frans Nieuwland, a foreman at Dura Vermeer. “Doornbos reacts quickly, even when we suddenly need some machines. That is their strong point. The working relationship is positive and agreeable, and Doornbos works very hard for us.”
Crawler cranes and other heavy artillery
Dura Vermeer is a construction group that operates nationally and that is active in the construction, real estate, infrastructure, advice and service sectors. The company that was established in 1855 likes to use Doornbos for projects in Rotterdam and the surrounding area. Frans Nieuwland, a foreman at Dura Vermeer, is also in almost daily contact with the Doornbos crane hire department. “It started with crawler cranes and moved on to increasingly taller and heavier machines”, explained Nieuwland. “We often know ourselves which machines we require, but if we don’t, then we consult with Doornbos regarding which machines can best be used for the job at hand”.
Good report mark
The fact that the cooperation with Doornbos is good is proved by the annual report mark it received. “We always assess our suppliers when evaluating the annual contracts. The highest mark is seven and Doornbos did very well receiving a mark of 6.9. We do not give such a mark very easily, but if the cooperation is good, then so is the mark that the company receives. Doornbos is not only a reliable partner, it is also a company with sociable employees. The success of cooperation with another company often rests with the attitude of its employees”.
