‘Do you have a VCA certificate?’ This may be a question frequently asked by clients. Following a VCA training course ensures that you work safely, with attention to health and the environment. Having a VCA certificate also demonstrates that you meet specific legal and occupational health and safety requirements.
The training course is intended for anyone who works in a high-risk environment, such as a factory, port or construction project, or who performs high-risk activities. For example contractors, painters, scaffolding builders, traffic controllers, engineers, technicians and people working in the petrochemical industry or manufacturing.
The training is available in two versions:
- B-VCA; for operational staff
- Full-VCA; for operational executives
The course content is the same in both versions, but the subject matter is dealt with in more detail during the VOL-VCA training course.
Full training course or (re-)examination only
Doornbos offer a full VCA course, in which the theory is discussed in great detail. The training course takes two days; in three training sessions, followed by an exam in the afternoon of the second day.
Doornbos also offer the possibility of just taking a (re-)exam. In that case, learning the theory is your own responsibility.
- Occupational health and safety legislation and legal provisions
- Hazards, risks and their prevention
- Accidents and emergency situations
- Instructions, signaling and procedures
- Picking up, transporting and depositing loads
- Work equipment and personal protective equipment
- Fire, explosion and dangerous substances
- Healthy workplaces
After you have successfully completed the training, you will receive a VCA certificate. This certificate is valid for ten years. With this VCA certificate you meet the European standards. This means that the certificate is also recognized elsewhere in Europe.
Training dates can be determined in consultation.
