Rental, Sales or Lease?
At Doornbos Equipment, you can rent, buy or lease machines and equipment. From aerial work platforms to forklift trucks and from telehandlers to high-pressure equipment. What exactly are the differences, advantages and disadvantages?
Renting machines has several advantages: you don’t have to make large investments and you don’t have to face unexpected costs for maintenance and repairs, for example. It offers you more financial freedom, because insurance, interest and depreciation are not your concern. In addition, you only pay for a machine when you really need it. When the job is done, you just hand it back.
If you use equipment on a daily basis, it may be more attractive to buy. However, (temporary) rental can also be interesting to test the machine in practice first. And do you use (some) machines not permanently, or do you need extra capacity now and then? Then renting machines might be a better option. Doornbos Equipment will be happy to advise you on this.
The biggest advantage of buying a machine is the optimal flexibility. If you need the machine, it is always immediately available. You can also decide for yourself how long you will keep the machine and when you will sell it. When buying a machine, you are often eligible for tax benefits such as the investment deduction and the deduction of depreciation and interest.
A disadvantage of buying a machine: it is a considerable investment. In addition, you have to pay for maintenance, possible defects and repairs outside the warranty.
You can buy both new and used machines from Doornbos Equipment.
Do you often need a machine, but do not have the financial resources? Then leasing the machine might be the solution for you. You enter into a contract for a certain period of time – 48 or 60 months for example – which means that the instalment is lower than with renting. In addition, you retain scope to invest in your core activities.
If you opt for Operational Lease, the costs of service, maintenance and repair are also covered. As with rental, Operational Lease means you are not faced with unexpected costs. The machine remains the property of the supplier, although you often have an option to purchase at the end of the term. With Financial Lease, the maintenance and service costs outside of the warranty are at your own expense. At the end of the term, the machine becomes your property.
Are you considering leasing a machine? Doornbos Equipment will be happy to advise you.
