Manual Handling training
Handling goods incorrectly can cause serious injuries. In extreme circumstances, it can even lead to occupational disability. The Manual Handling training elaborates about legislation around the lifting and moving of goods, makes you aware of the potential dangers and provides best practices to minimise a chance on injuries.
Who needs manual handling training?
This certificate is for everyone who is manually lifting and moving goods in its working environment. Participation does not require any prerequisites.
During this half-day training we cover:
- Health and safety legislation and legal provisions
- Basics of human anatomy
- Prevention measures
- Best practices to safely lift on move goods
Duration of the training and exams
The duration of this training is 2 hours (half-day). The training consists of a theoretical and a practical part. After successful completion of the exam, the participant receives a certificate. The certificate obtained is personal and valid for three years.
Training dates can be determined in consultation.
Signing up for training
The Doornbos Training Centre provides training on location and in groups in Amsterdam and Rotterdam and is affiliated with Doornbos Equipment. We direct our courses to the rented equipment. This leads to maximum applicability and therefore higher safety.
We not only focus on the correct use of the machines, but also on the most sustainable use of the machines. This gives a noticeable difference in emissions and costs. All our courses are certified nationally and/or internationally.
