Working at Heights training

According to the Dutch (ARBO) legislation, you are ‘working at heights’ when you are involved in working activities above 2.5 meters from the ground. Working at heights involves risks. During this training you learn to be aware of potential dangers, you learn which protection equipment allows you to safely work at heights and to minimise risks on an accident.

Who needs the Working at Heights training?

This training is for everyone who, as part of their working duties, work at heights. Participation doesn’t require any prerequisites.

Subjects covered

During this 2 hour (half-day) training we cover:

  • Health and safety legislation and legal provisions
  • Recognise the dangers and assess risks
  • Safety precautions and protection equipment (PPE)

Duration of the training and exams

The duration of this training is 2 hours (half-day). The training consists of a theoretical part with some practical elements. After successful completion of the exam, the participant receives a certificate. The certificate obtained is personal and valid for three years.

Signing up for training

The Doornbos Training Centre provides training on location and in groups in Amsterdam and Rotterdam and is affiliated with Doornbos Equipment. We direct our courses to the rented equipment. This leads to maximum applicability and therefore higher safety.

We not only focus on the correct use of the machines, but also on the most sustainable use of the machines. This gives a noticeable difference in emissions and costs. All our courses are certified nationally and/or internationally.
