(IPAF) MEWP Training 1B 3A 3B (ENG) (Theory + Praktice on Site)

During our practical IPAF AWP training personal guidance is central. During this training 3 categories of aerial work platforms are dealt with according to the IPAF guidelines:
3A: self-propelled scissor lift or self-propelled single-section vertical lift
3B: self-propelled telescopic or articulated boom lift
1B: truck-mounted work platforms, trailer-mounted work platforms, spider-mounted work platforms & (articulated) telescopic work platforms with outriggers

You will be trained on:
Working safely with an aerial work platform
Reducing risks
Increasing your efficiency and safety awareness
Reducing accidents and breakdowns

IPAF Certification:
Validity 5 years
International Recognition
Certificate + PAL Card

Programme:
The training is suitable for both experienced and inexperienced aerial work platform users. During the IPAF 3A 3B 1B aerial work platform course we will use the type of aerial work platform that you will be working with.
Participation in the course requires no specific prior training. At the start of the course, all theoretical aspects of aerial work platforms are covered, followed by a theory exam in the morning. The practical part takes place in the afternoon in one of our practice areas (an imitation of your own working environment), the practical parts are also concluded with an IPAF exam. 

Content Theory: 
Which machines to use for which activities
Legal provisions and safety requirements
Naming of parts
Daily maintenance
Safety features of the machines and general safety requirements

Practical content:
Safety requirements
Last Minute Risk Analysis (inspection and maintenance)
Operation and use including emergency control
Environmental risks
Practical exercises on a fixed course, depending on the type of machine

Other categories of aerial work platform training:
This training falls within the categories 3A 3B 1B (IPAF), other categories and combinations are possible in consultation:
Category 1A : Static single mast work platforms 
Category 1B: truck-mounted work platforms, trailer-mounted work platforms, spider-mounted work platforms & (articulated) telescopic platforms with outriggers
Category 3A : Self-propelled scissor lifts and one-man mast work platforms
Category 3B : Self-propelled (articulated) telescopic work platforms on tracks or tyres

Languages:
The standard language for this training is Dutch, but it is also possible to provide the training in another language. 
Requisites
Valid identification
Safety shoes
Work clothes
Safety helmet 
Admission requirements:
Candidates must be at least 18 years old and must be proficient in Dutch orally and in writing. Other languages are possible in consultation.
The language of instruction for all courses is Dutch or English.

 Doornbos takes care of the necessary equipment and lunch.
